Match in the match
The regularity category will get the attention they deserve during the A&D Omloop van Vlaanderen! Besides the separate regularity car park and regularity service area, sporting developments will be followed throughout the rally weekend by the official 'rally radio' (RADIO I.R.O - 107.2 & 107.6 FM). Sporting developments which, incidentally, are making interesting announcements. Bjorn & Jens Vanoverschelde, sports managers: "Those who know us know that we like to put on events full of character. And that is during the Rock n Roll Classics. OMLOOP VAN VLAANDEREN no different. The rhythm will be interrupted several times during the regularity tests by virtual stamp controls. In 2 regularity trials, the average speed will be announced only 10 seconds before the starting gun in the form of an old-fashioned time table. Programmable tripmasters will become more superfluous than ever during these trials and the essence of regularity driving will be guaranteed. The thoroughly redesigned special stages also announce themselves selectively and the Friday night tests in darkness can surely be called challenging. In short, a very varied round of the new VHRS (VHRS = regularity races on closed special stages) championship announces itself!"
A cast-iron and well-stocked field of participants!
The Rock n Roll Classics. OMLOOP VAN VLAANDEREN can turn out with a particularly attractive, well-stocked and, above all, rock-solid field of competitors! Not only are all title contenders on the appointment, but they will be challenged by some local specialists!

In short: in a category where traditionally the differences remain small, any small mistake will be punished particularly heavily.
In the REGULARITY65 category, the Porsches of De Jaeger-De Jaeger, Maes-Pyck, Van Calster-Noelanders & Savic-Pelckmans will challenge championship contenders Deflandre-Gengoux, Louys-Lejeune, Verlinde-Doolaeghe, De Wolf-Cole, Scheen-Barvaux, Lamberty-Frankenberg & Kenis-Clauw. Or will the Lada 2107 of the experienced duo De Munck-Vermant provide the surprise? Answer Saturday evening around 18h00 on the finish podium in Roeselare!
